Brookes Bell Singapore – New Home, Same Service

Singapore is the world’s foremost maritime centre.  The hub is home to almost all players in the maritime space, from vessel owners and charterers to P&I clubs and law professionals.

Brookes Bell has long ensured it has a home in Singapore in order to provide its range of multifaceted technical and scientific services to vessels and shipping companies accessing the world’s second busiest port.

Recently, Brookes Bell Singapore moved to a new office space in Singapore as part of the team’s growth and expansion into new markets and services.  Now based at 28 Stanley Street, Brookes Bell Singapore is ideally set up to provide the best marine consultancy services in the area.

This includes services ranging from marine engineering, metallurgy, fuel analysis and investigation, cargo science and Master Mariner consultancy support.  In addition, our Singapore team is ably supported by our broader international team of specialists that includes special casualty representatives, fire investigators, tribologists, and many more.

The team, led by Tom Ainsley, has also continued to seek out the very best in our industry to bolster our knowledge and experience across multiple sectors.  In 2024, Brookes Bell Singapore welcomed two of the industry’s very best to our team.  In April, Captain Hisyam Haron joined as our newest Master Mariner, providing a broad range of skills across a number of breakbulk and project cargoes.  In July, we also welcomed Amandeep Bedi as our new Managing Marine Engineer, who brings a wealth of experience onboard tankers and gas carriers.  Both are esteemed members of the maritime sector, bringing the knowledge and experience in various vessel and cargo management issues that Brookes Bell is renowned for.

Singapore’s role in the wider maritime industry is only set to grow as we head into 2025.  Global regulations relating to decarbonisation and an ever-growing orderbook of new vessels means the need for reliable and efficient support services to handle all manner of cases will be vital.

Its home may be new but Brookes Bell Singapore stands ready to offer support, no matter the issue, for vessels and cargo all over the Asia-Pacific region.
